The Wilson's Origin Story: From Campus Cups to a Nigerian Lemonade Brand
Wilson's Juice Co. began in 2010 with brothers Seyi and Seun Abolaji selling cups of fresh lemonade on a university campus. The recipe was simple: real lemons, a hand-squeezer, and a belief that a Nigerian beverage brand could be built from scratch.
What started as a campus hustle grew into a wider lemonade story. The brand brief identifies Wilson's as a NAFDAC-approved, never-from-concentrate lemonade brand: a real-fruit standard built around Old Fashioned Lemonade, Pink Lemonade and Fifun Todos.
Along the way the brand story has appeared in media features including CNN Africa and founder-focused video interviews, giving people a look at the grit behind the bottle.
The mission keeps sharpening: build Africa's most viable natural beverage company by December 31, 2030, while making lemonade that feels bold, local and for everyone.
